Research Society "Babin nos" is a non-governmental and non-profit association established to achieve goals in the field of nature protection, village revitalization and sustainable development.
Research of biological and landscape diversity of ecologically important areas for the purpose of preservation, restoration and improvement of damaged habitats and protection of certain species;
Survey of public opinion on the knowledge and use of natural resources, with special reference to the resource of medicinal and wild edible plants;
Developing awareness, especially among children and young people, about the importance of rational exploitation of natural resources, as well as protection, preservation and improvement of human health through the use of medicinal plants;
Acquisition and placement of knowledge in the field of study, production, processing and trade of medicinal plants; education of the population for collecting wild and growing medicinal plant species, from the aspect of improving people's life and health;
Advocating for the integral and sustainable development of villages by encouraging local agricultural activities, as well as developing rural tourism, using traditional recipes in the preparation of healthy food;
Encouraging the preservation of craft activities, hunting, fishing and beekeeping, by organizing art colonies in nature, cultural and artistic manifestations and recreational sports activities in the countryside
